Choosing custom medals for your event
Decide first whether you need stock designs with a branded centre or a fully custom shape. Stock medals with a printed or engraved insert are quick to brief and suit smaller events. Custom-shaped medals cast with your logo or event emblem feel more special for flagship races in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Riyadh, or national day tournaments in Doha and Kuwait City.
Finish and size matter too. Gold, silver and bronze finishes show rankings clearly, while antique or matte finishes give a premium look. Larger medals photograph well at finish lines and award stages.
Branding medals and ribbons
Medals are usually branded through casting, engraving or a printed insert. For printed inserts and ribbons, full-colour digital printing reproduces logos, sponsor marks and event dates in detail. Ribbons can carry your colours and text in Arabic and English, and the back of the medal can be engraved with names or dates.

Stock medals use an existing medal shape with your logo on a printed or engraved centre insert, which suits smaller events and simpler briefs. Custom medals are cast in a shape designed around your logo or event emblem and feel more distinctive. Custom designs usually need higher quantities and more lead time, confirmed in your quote.
Can the medal ribbon be printed with our branding?
Yes. Ribbons can be printed in your brand colours with logos, sponsor names, event titles and dates, in Arabic, English or both. Ribbon width and attachment style can also be chosen. The free digital mock-up shows both the medal and the ribbon so you can approve them together.
Can each medal be engraved with a name or ranking?
Yes. The back of many medals can be engraved with a winner's name, category, ranking or date. This is popular for tournaments and recognition programmes. Individual engraving can affect lead time, which we confirm in your quote. Send names in a spreadsheet so we can check each one in the mock-up.
What is the minimum order for custom medals?
Minimums depend on whether you choose a stock medal with a branded insert or a fully custom cast design, and on the ribbon. MOQ is shown on each product page and confirmed in your quote. Small runs are possible on many stock medals, while custom shapes are better suited to larger events.
