A keepsake made for Union Day
A custom Eid Al Etihad enamel pin carries your own design, so it works as a commemorative badge for UAE National Day in a way a plain flag pin cannot. Companies give it to every employee on 1 December, to volunteers at community events, and to long-serving staff as part of a year-end thank you.
The standard design is a round badge with a ring of the four national colours and a white or metal centre. Your logo, the year and a short line such as "Eid Al Etihad" or "عيد الاتحاد" sit in the middle. Shapes can follow your own outline, such as a falcon or your emblem.
How the pin is made
The design is die-struck into the metal, so the logo stands in raised plated lines, and the recesses are filled with soft or hard enamel colours. A mould is made for your design, which is why the lead time is a little longer than for printed pins. A serial number or date can be laser engraved on the back.
- Plating: gold, silver or antique bronze
- Size: 25 to 40 mm, with butterfly clutch or magnet back
- Presented in a bag, on a card or in a small gift box

Frequently asked questions
Why does an enamel pin take longer than a printed pin?
Each design needs its own mould, which is cut before the pins are struck, filled with enamel and plated. That adds a few working days compared with printed badges. For 2 December, approve your mock-up in the first week of November to keep enough time.
Can the pin include Arabic text?
Yes. Short Arabic and English lines such as Eid Al Etihad or the year work well. Very small text is hard to strike cleanly, so we suggest a minimum size on the mock-up and check the Arabic spelling with you before the mould is made.
Can we use the UAE flag in the design?
The national colours can be used freely in the ring. If you want the flag itself, it must keep its correct colours and proportions, and we show it on the mock-up for your approval. Many companies prefer the colour ring with their own logo.
What is the difference between soft and hard enamel?
Soft enamel sits slightly below the metal lines, giving a textured feel and a lower price. Hard enamel is polished flat and smooth, for a more premium, jewellery-like finish. Both keep their colour for years.
