How the logo is applied
- Laser engraving removes the coloured coating or marks the steel, giving a crisp, permanent logo up to about 40 x 25 mm. Gold and black tags show the highest contrast. See laser engraving.
- UV printing adds full-colour logos where brand colours matter.
- The back can be engraved with a short greeting, a date or a recipient name, so a set of tags can be personalised.
Fine lines engrave very cleanly on metal, so detailed crests and Arabic calligraphy work well at this small size.
Shapes, attachments and ordering
Standard tags are rectangles of about 50 x 30 mm with rounded corners, and circles, ovals, arches or custom shapes can be cut. Each tag has a hole for a ribbon, cord or a small ball chain, and can also come as a keyring with a split ring. Stainless steel resists tarnish; aluminium is lighter and lower in cost. Frequently asked questions
Can each tag carry a different name?
Yes. Laser engraving reads names from a list, so each tag can have a different recipient name or number on the back at a small extra cost. The logo on the front stays the same across the order.
Which colour shows the logo best?
Black and gold coated tags give the strongest contrast, because engraving reveals bright silver metal underneath. Plain silver steel shows a subtler, darker mark. The mock-up shows how your logo will look on each finish.
Can the tag be turned into a keyring?
Yes. Tags can be supplied with a split ring and short chain, so recipients use them as a keyring after removing the ribbon. This works well for car-themed gifts and long-service presentations.
