Why use custom logo printed tissue paper
Tissue is the layer the recipient sees first when the box opens. Printed with your logo, it turns a plain box or bag into a branded unboxing, the way fashion and perfume boutiques present purchases. It also protects items from scratches, fills empty space and hides contents in a gift bag. How tissue is printed
- Screen or flexo printing in 1 or 2 colours, with the logo repeated in a pattern across the sheet. See screen printing.
- White ink on black or navy tissue and gold on white are the most requested combinations.
- Patterns can mix the logo with Arabic and English words, or with a simple seasonal motif such as crescents for Eid.
Tissue is very thin, so ink can show slightly through to the back and fine lines soften. Small to medium logos with clear shapes print most cleanly.
Sheets, colours and ordering
Standard sheets are about 50 x 70 cm, which wraps a medium gift box or fills a gift bag with two or three sheets. Paper weights of about 17 to 28 gsm feel soft but strong enough to fold. Tissue is supplied folded or flat in packs, and acid-free paper can be chosen for textiles and leather. The minimum is usually around 1,000 sheets per design, a few months of supply for most programmes. We share a free digital mock-up of the pattern and deliver across the GCC. Frequently asked questions
How many sheets does one gift need?
A medium gift box usually takes one or two sheets, folded over the item. A gift bag looks full with two or three sheets fanned at the top. We can estimate the total from your box sizes and quantities.
Will the ink rub off on our products?
Water-based inks are used and fully dried before packing, so normal handling does not transfer colour. For white textiles or leather we suggest acid-free tissue and light ink colours, and a quick test before the full order.
Can we print a full-colour logo on tissue?
Tissue is best printed in 1 or 2 solid colours, because the thin, absorbent paper softens gradients and photos. For a full-colour logo we suggest a simplified single-colour version on the tissue plus a full-colour sticker seal.
