How the logo is engraved
The logo is cut into a solid brass head, usually 20 to 30 mm across, by laser engraving or fine CNC cutting. Engraving depth is set so the wax lifts cleanly.

- Lines thinner than about 0.3 mm and very small text tend to fill with wax.

Flexible sealing wax is best for boxes, ribbons and envelopes that may bend or travel by courier, as it does not crack. Traditional brittle wax suits flat letters and certificates. Both come in many colours.
Is a stamp practical for hundreds of gifts?
