When a tubular lanyard is the right choice
A printed tubular lanyard is the lowest-cost way to put a logo on every visitor at a large event. The strap is knitted as a soft tube, so it is light, rounded and comfortable on the neck, and it is about 12 mm wide when flat. A simple metal hook or clip holds the badge.
Organisers of trade shows, exhibitions and public events in Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah and Doha order tubular lanyards by the thousand for visitor passes, while premium flat lanyards are reserved for staff, speakers and VIPs. They are a sensible pick for one-day conferences and exhibitions, school events and sports registrations.
Printing on a tubular strap
The logo is applied by single-colour screen printing, repeated along the strap. Because the surface is narrow and slightly rounded, bold logos and short names work best. For full-colour designs, a flat polyester lanyard with sublimation print is the better option.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the minimum higher than for other lanyards?
Tubular lanyards are made for large volumes and priced very low per piece, so suppliers set up screens and strap runs for bigger quantities. For a small staff order, a flat printed or woven lanyard usually makes more sense, and we will suggest one.
Can we print a multi-colour logo?
Tubular straps take one print colour well. A multi-colour logo can be simplified to one colour, or you can switch to a flat 15 or 20 mm lanyard with full-colour sublimation, which suits gradients and detailed artwork.
Can lanyard colours mark visitor types?
Yes. Ordering different strap colours for visitors, exhibitors, media and staff is common at exhibitions, and security teams can tell groups apart at a glance. Each colour is counted separately towards the minimum in your quote.
