Branding a custom logo velvet pouch
Velvet has a deep pile, so the logo should be compact and bold:
- Heat transfer foil in gold, silver or white, about 60 x 40 mm, the most popular finish on velvet. See how heat transfer printing works.
- Screen printing in 1 colour for simple logos of about 70 x 50 mm.
- Embroidery of about 50 x 30 mm for a raised, textured mark.
Very fine lines or small text can sink into the pile, so keep text at least 3 mm tall. Gold on burgundy or navy is the classic choice.
Sizes and ordering
Pouches come in sizes from ring and earbud size up to bags that hold a perfume box or a small notebook. You can mix colours within one order, for example by gift type. What size pouch do we need?
Tell us what goes inside. Common sizes are about 8 x 10 cm for rings and earbuds, 12 x 16 cm for perfume or oud, and 15 x 20 cm for small notebooks or pens sets. Custom sizes are possible.
Which logo finish works best on velvet?
Gold or silver heat transfer foil gives the cleanest result on velvet and suits most brands. Embroidery adds texture, while one-colour screen printing works for simple bold logos. We show the finish in the mock-up.
Can we mix colours?
Yes. Many clients use one colour per gift type or per audience, for example burgundy for women's sets and navy for men's sets. Each colour may have its own minimum.
