How it works

How logo embroidery works

Logo embroidery stitches your design into the fabric with coloured thread, giving a raised, textured finish that looks premium on workwear. First the logo is digitised: a specialist converts the artwork into a stitch file that tells the machine the direction, density and order of every stitch. The garment is hooped to hold it tight, a stabilising backing is placed behind the fabric, and a multi-needle machine sews the design, changing thread colours automatically.

Garments and products that suit embroidery

Embroidery is the standard choice for staff uniforms and workwear, polos, caps and hats, jackets, fleeces, towels and canvas bags. It works best on medium to heavy fabrics such as cotton piqué, twill and fleece; very thin or stretchy fabrics can pucker. Branded polos and caps are a popular part of onboarding packs for new hires for teams in Dubai, Riyadh, Doha and Kuwait City.

Artwork, durability and choosing a method

  • Artwork: send a vector file (AI, EPS or PDF); a clear high-resolution image can also be digitised.
  • Colours: thread colours are matched to your Pantone references as closely as the thread range allows. Gradients and photographic detail cannot be stitched.
  • Size and detail: very small text and thin lines lose definition, so Arabic and English lettering needs enough height to stay legible, especially on caps.
  • Durability: embroidery withstands repeated washing and does not crack or peel.

For large or detailed designs on T-shirts, screen printing on cotton is lighter and smoother, while heat transfer printing suits names and numbers on sportswear. We share a free digital mock-up before production, and MOQ and lead time are on each product and confirmed in your quote. Request an embroidery quote with your logo and size breakdown.

Frequently asked questions

Can you embroider Arabic text and logos?

Yes. Arabic lettering embroiders well when it is large enough for the dots and letter joins to stay clear. On caps and small chest logos we may suggest slightly bolder letterforms or a larger size. The digitised design is shown in the free mock-up, so your team can check the wording, spacing and reading direction before production starts.

What is digitising and do I need to provide it?

Digitising turns your logo into a stitch file that the embroidery machine can read. You do not need to create it yourself; just send your logo as a vector file or a clear high-resolution image. The same stitch file can be reused for later orders of polos, caps or jackets, which keeps the logo consistent across reorders.

Where can a logo be embroidered on a polo or cap?

Common positions are the left chest, sleeve, back and collar on polos and jackets, and the front panel, side or back strap on caps. Front cap panels have a curved, limited area, so the logo is sized to fit within it. Placement options vary by garment and are confirmed with your free digital mock-up before stitching begins.

Is there a minimum order for embroidered uniforms?

MOQ depends on the garment and the branding method, and it is shown on each product page and confirmed in your quote. Orders can usually mix sizes within one style, which helps HR teams kit out staff across different branches. Share your size breakdown and the number of logo positions so we can advise on the most practical setup.
