What a die-cut handle paper bag is used for
The die-cut bag has no rope or twisted handles: an oval or rectangular hole is punched through a folded, reinforced band at the top. That keeps the bag flat, light and cheaper than a bag with fitted handles, while still carrying brochures, a notebook, a T-shirt or a small boxed gift. Exhibitors at events in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh hand them out by the hundred, and HR teams use them to hand over onboarding documents. Printing your logo
- Screen printing in 1 or 2 colours, about 200 x 150 mm per side, is the standard choice for bold logos. See screen printing.
- Full-colour print across the front and back for photos, event artwork and gradients.
- The gusset sides can carry a website, a QR code or Arabic and English event details.
White paper shows colours brightest. Kraft gives a natural look and works best with dark inks.
Weight, sizes and ordering
A paper weight of about 120 to 170 gsm suits documents and light gifts. The reinforced top lets the bag carry a few kilos, but heavy bottles or boxed tech gifts are better in a bag with rope or ribbon handles. A flat card base can be added. Bags are made in standard sizes such as A4 document and medium gift sizes, or to order. We share a free digital mock-up and deliver across the GCC. Frequently asked questions
How much weight can a die-cut bag carry?
With a reinforced top it carries brochures, notebooks, apparel and light boxed gifts comfortably, up to a few kilos. For glass bottles, mugs in boxes or heavier kits we recommend a laminated bag with rope handles instead.
Why is the minimum around 250 bags?
Die-cut bags are made on a machine line with a cutting die and printing plates, so short runs cost more per bag. They are usually ordered for events, where several hundred pieces are needed anyway.
Can each side carry a different design?
Yes. A common layout is the logo on the front, event details or a QR code on the back, and website on the gusset. With full-colour print each panel can be fully different at no extra setup.
