A lanyard that also charges

A branded USB-C charging cable lanyard looks like a standard neck strap, but its two ends are USB-C plugs that click together. Unclip them and you have a 90 cm charging cable for a phone, tablet or laptop, with support for fast charging up to 60W on compatible devices. It solves the common problem of delegates running out of battery during long event days.

It is a strong choice for technology, telecom and fintech stands at conferences and exhibitions such as large tech weeks in Dubai and Riyadh, for VIP and speaker passes, and for new-starter kits during employee onboarding. It is more expensive than a printed lanyard, so many organisers keep it for selected guests.

Branding the strap

The braided or flat outer sleeve carries the logo by screen printing in 1 or 2 colours, repeated along the strap. A flat-sleeve version accepts full-length heat transfer print for multi-colour designs.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with iPhones and Android phones?

It works with any device that has a USB-C port, which includes recent iPhones, most Android phones, tablets and many laptops. For older phones with other ports, an adaptor version can be supplied; we confirm options in the quote.

Is it safe to wear around the neck?

Yes. The plugs are joined by a connector that separates under strong pull, acting as a safety breakaway. The cable carries no current while worn, because it is only live when plugged into a charger and a device.

Can we print Arabic and English on the strap?

Yes. Short words, the logo or an event name can repeat in both languages along the strap. Because the strap is narrow, text around 8 to 10 mm high reads best, and we show the layout in the mock-up.
