What a printed polyester lanyard is used for

A printed polyester lanyard is the everyday strap that carries an event pass or staff ID, and it keeps your brand visible at chest height all day. The standard size is 20 mm wide with a 90 cm loop, which fits most adults and holds a card holder securely.

Organisers order them for delegates and exhibitors at conferences and exhibitions in Dubai, Riyadh and Doha, and HR teams issue them with access cards during staff onboarding. Different colours can mark visitor, staff, media and VIP groups at the same event.

Printing options and fittings

For multi-colour logos and patterns, heat transfer printing (dye sublimation) puts the design across the full length on both sides, with no limit on colours. For a simple logo on a solid coloured strap, screen printing in 1 or 2 colours is a cost-effective alternative.

Frequently asked questions

Can we order different lanyard colours for staff, visitors and VIPs?

Yes. Many event orders split the quantity into several colours or designs so groups are easy to tell apart. Each design has its own minimum, which we confirm in the quote along with the total.

Is a safety breakaway necessary?

It is recommended for crowded events, warehouses and schools, because the clip opens if the strap is pulled hard. It adds very little to the cost and we include it by default unless you ask otherwise.

Can the lanyard carry both English and Arabic text?

Yes. Sublimation printing can repeat the logo in both languages along the strap, or alternate them. The print height on a 20 mm strap is about 15 mm, so short words and logos work best.
