What a seed bomb gift box is

A seed bomb gift box holds a few small balls of clay, compost and seeds. The recipient presses a ball into a pot of soil or scatters it on a garden bed, waters it, and the clay holds moisture around the seeds as they start. It is a hands-on gift that families and children enjoy, and it stands out from paper-based items in our plantable seed products. Germination depends on soil, water, light and season, so we describe the box as plantable, not as a guaranteed garden.

Branding the box

The printed sleeve is the main branding area: full-colour digital print covers about 90 x 90 mm on top, with planting steps on the sides or back. For a simpler look, a one-colour screen print of about 70 x 50 mm on the kraft lid works well. Arabic and English text both fit, and a free digital mock-up shows the sleeve before production.

Packaging and ordering

Each box is filled with shredded paper and the seed balls, and the sleeve is fitted before dispatch. Keep boxes dry and out of sun. Frequently asked questions

Are seed bombs messy to give at an office?

No. The balls are dry and firm, and stay inside the closed box until planted. They can leave a little dust on fingers when handled, like dry soil, so the box includes paper filling to keep them clean.

How long do seed bombs keep?

Kept dry and out of direct sun, the seed balls generally stay usable for several months. We suggest giving them within the season they are made for, and we print a plant-by guidance on the sleeve if you wish.

Can we choose the seed type?

Yes, within what is available and allowed for the delivery country. Wildflower mixes and easy herbs such as basil are the most common choices. We confirm the seed type in your quote.
