How a plantable desk calendar works

A plantable seed paper desk calendar sits on a desk for a whole year with your logo on every month, and each sheet can be planted once its month is over. The 12 monthly sheets are printed on seed paper and held on a kraft card easel; at the end of the month, the recipient tears off the sheet, soaks it, lays it on soil and keeps it damp. Germination depends on soil, water and light, so the sheets are described as plantable, not guaranteed to grow.

Designing the calendar

Full-colour digital print covers each sheet, about 200 x 140 mm, with your logo, a date grid and an optional monthly message or photo. We can mark UAE, Saudi or other GCC public holidays and show both Gregorian and Hijri months, which buyers in the region often ask for. Holiday dates that depend on the moon are shown as expected dates. The textured seed paper suits clean layouts and bold colours. A free digital proof of all 12 months comes before printing.

Packaging and ordering

Calendars ship flat-packed in kraft envelopes or boxes, and assemble in seconds. Calendar orders need proof time for 12 pages, so plan from October for January delivery. Frequently asked questions

Can the calendar show Hijri dates and GCC holidays?

Yes. We can show Hijri months alongside Gregorian dates and mark public holidays for the country you choose. Holidays based on moon sighting are shown as expected dates, and we note that on the calendar.

Does the calendar have to start in January?

No. It can start in any month, for example for a financial year, the academic year or the start of Ramadan. Tell us the start month and we lay out the 12 sheets from there.

Can each month carry a different message or photo?

Yes. Many clients use each month for a brand value, a product, a photo or a sustainability tip. We send a proof of all 12 sheets for approval before printing.
