Why choose a jute drawstring gift pouch

Jute has a coarse natural weave and an earthy colour that fits heritage, coffee and eco themes. How the logo looks on jute

Screen printing in 1 or 2 colours, about 100 x 80 mm, is the most natural look. Dark brown, black, white and gold ink suit the fibre. See screen printing.
Heat transfer for logos with more detail, though the open weave softens fine lines.
A sewn-on cotton label or a leather patch can carry a debossed logo for a premium touch, quoted on request.

Jute is uneven by nature, so bold logos and Arabic calligraphy-style marks print best. Very small text may not be crisp.

Sizes, linings and ordering

Common sizes run from about 10 x 15 cm for coffee or soap to 25 x 30 cm for a boxed gift. A cotton or PE lining can be added for food items, and a gusset base lets the pouch stand. Frequently asked questions

Can jute pouches hold coffee or dates directly?

It is best to place food in a sealed bag or box first, then inside the pouch. A cotton or PE lining can also be added. This keeps the coffee or dates clean and stops any jute fibre reaching them.

Does jute have a smell?

Natural jute has a mild earthy smell when new, which fades after a few days of airing. We can air the pouches before packing, and placing coffee or bakhoor inside often masks it completely.

Which logo colours work best on jute?

Dark brown and black are clearest on natural jute. White and gold stand out well on dyed brown or black jute. Light colours on natural jute look faded, so we suggest strong contrast in the mock-up.
