Print options on a ceramic mug

Full-colour digital print, applied by sublimation, covers a wrap area of about 200 x 80 mm, so photos, gradients, patterns and Arabic calligraphy all reproduce in vivid colour. For a classic look, screen printing places a one or two colour logo of around 80 x 60 mm on one or both sides. You can also print a different name or message on each mug for team gifts. A free digital mock-up is sent before production.

Packaging and ordering

Frequently asked questions

Can you print a photo or full-colour design on the mug?

Yes. Sublimation prints photos, gradients and detailed artwork in full colour around most of the mug. Send a high-resolution file and we check it before printing. Screen printing is better for a single solid-colour logo at a lower cost on larger runs.

Is the print dishwasher safe?

Sublimated prints are sealed into the mug coating and hold up well to everyday washing. Hand washing keeps colours bright for longest. We give care notes with the order so your team knows how to look after the mugs.

Can each mug have a different name?

Yes. Digital printing allows a different name or message on each mug at no change to the setup. Send a spreadsheet of names, and allow some extra time, which we include in the lead time in your quote.

Do the mugs come boxed?

Each mug comes in an individual white box as standard, which protects it during delivery. Printed boxes with your logo or a window box are available for gifting and add to the lead time.
