Does the mug come with batteries?
The mug runs on small standard batteries in the base. Whether batteries are packed inside depends on shipping rules for the delivery route. We confirm this in the quote and can add a note in the box telling users which batteries to fit.
Can it be washed in a dishwasher?
No. The base holds a small motor and batteries, so the mug should be hand washed only and never submerged or microwaved. The stirring paddle area rinses clean under running water.
Is it good for hot drinks?
Yes. It is designed for hot coffee, tea and cocoa as well as cold drinks. The lid keeps drinks warmer for a little longer, but it is not a vacuum insulated mug, so drinks cool at a normal rate.
