Frequently asked questions
Can the enamel mug go in the microwave?
No. The body is steel coated with enamel, so it must not go in a microwave. It can be used for hot drinks, near a campfire or on a camping stove with care. We recommend hand washing to protect the printed logo.
Does the enamel chip?
Enamel is hard but can chip if the mug is dropped on stone or tiles, especially on the rim. Small chips do not affect use for most people and are part of the vintage look. Careful packing protects the mugs during delivery.
Which logo styles suit an enamel mug?
Simple line logos, badges and one or two-colour designs look best and match the retro style. Detailed full-colour logos are possible with UV printing. We check the artwork and suggest the best method in the mock-up.
