Branding on cork

Laser engraving is the best match for cork: it darkens the surface and leaves a clear, slightly burnt logo with no ink. Fine text can blur on the grain, so we suggest a minimum line thickness that we check on the mock-up. Single-colour screen printing in white or black is an alternative for bold logos.

Is cork durable for daily travel?

Yes. Cork fabric is flexible, resists water and stains, and does not crack with normal folding. Edges are stitched to prevent fraying. It wears differently from leather, keeping its texture rather than developing a patina.

Will a detailed logo engrave well on cork?

Bold logos engrave very clearly. Very thin lines and small text can blur on the cork grain, so we check line thickness on your artwork and may suggest a simplified version on the mock-up.

Is the cork sustainably sourced?

Cork is harvested from the bark of cork oak trees, which regrows, so the trees are not felled. We share the material details from our supplier with the quote so you can describe the gift accurately.
