When Tyvek wristbands are the right choice
A Tyvek wristband is used to control access at events, because it is cheap per piece, quick to put on and cannot be removed and passed on without tearing. The band is about 254 x 25 mm, light like paper but waterproof and very hard to tear by hand.
Organisers of conferences, exhibitions and festivals use colour-coded bands for day passes, VIP areas, crew and age checks. Can each wristband have a unique number?
Yes. Sequential numbers or barcodes can be printed on each band, which helps with counting entries and stopping duplicates. Tell us the number range and format when you send your artwork, and we show it in the mock-up.
Are Tyvek wristbands waterproof?
Yes. Tyvek resists water and sweat, so bands stay readable at pool parties and outdoor events. They are designed for a day or a weekend, not for long-term wear like silicone bands.
Can we order several colours for different zones?
Yes. Colour coding is the main reason buyers choose Tyvek. Each colour can carry the same or different artwork, and quantities per colour are confirmed in your quote with the gate plan in mind.
