Why a clear window lid gift box works for food gifts
A window lid lets the contents do the selling. Neat rows of stuffed dates, maamoul, chocolates or macarons look generous through the clear panel, and the recipient sees the gift before opening it. Branding options
- Printing on the window: a one-colour logo in white, gold or black of about 80 x 40 mm, placed in a corner so it does not hide the contents. See screen printing.
- Foil stamping on the box sides or on the lid frame, about 60 x 20 mm.
- A printed belly band or a round seal sticker over the lid can add a message such as Ramadan Kareem without changing the box.
Inserts, food contact and ordering
For sweets and dates, the box is fitted with a food-grade tray or paper cups so pieces stay in rows. We pack boxes you supply contents for, or the contents can be chosen from our dates and chocolate range. Lids can be square, rectangular or round. Frequently asked questions
Is the window safe for food?
The PET window does not touch the food directly. Sweets and dates sit in a food-grade plastic tray, paper cups or on glassine paper inside the box, which keeps them clean and in place during delivery.
Will a printed logo block the view of the contents?
Not if it is placed well. We usually print a one-colour logo in a corner of the window, or keep the window clear and put the logo in foil on the lid frame. The mock-up shows both options.
What shapes are available?
Square and rectangular boxes are most common, and round boxes with a window lid are also popular for chocolates and maamoul. Each is made to the size of the tray or contents you plan to use.
