Printing on a custom kraft paper bag
Brown kraft absorbs ink, so strong, simple designs work best:
- Screen printing in 1 or 2 colours over about 180 x 150 mm. Black, white and dark brand colours show best on kraft. See screen printing.
- Full-colour digital print across the front panel for photos or multi-colour logos, best on white kraft.
Light colours such as yellow or pale blue look muted on brown kraft, so choose white kraft if your logo depends on them.
Sizes and ordering
Kraft bags come in small, medium and large sizes, from a jewellery-sized bag to one that fits an A4 folder and a gift box. Tell us what goes inside and we suggest the right size and paper weight. Frequently asked questions
Which colours print best on brown kraft?
Black, white and dark colours such as navy or deep green print best. Pale colours look muted on brown paper. If your logo relies on light colours, choose white kraft instead.
Can you make the bag in a custom size?
Yes. Kraft bags are produced in a range of sizes, and custom sizes are possible for larger orders. Send us the size of the items you need to fit and we recommend dimensions.
How much weight can the bag hold?
A medium kraft bag comfortably holds brochures, a small gift box and a bottle. For heavier contents, such as several books or glass jars, we suggest a thicker paper and reinforced base.
