Why a golf umbrella works in the Gulf

A golf umbrella is one of the few branded items that gets used year-round in the GCC: as a sun shade in summer, at outdoor events, school gates and car parks, and for the occasional rain in winter. The 30-inch canopy is around 130 cm across, wide enough to cover two people, and the auto-open button makes it easy to use with one hand.

Banks, real estate developers and hotels give golf umbrellas to valued customers as client appreciation gifts, and event organisers use them for staff and VIP hosts at outdoor activations in Dubai, Riyadh and Doha. A silver or black UV-coated underside helps block sunlight.

Printing your logo on the canopy

Logos are applied panel by panel with screen printing, up to about 250 x 150 mm per panel and up to four colours. Most buyers print on two opposite panels so the logo is visible from any side. Alternating panel colours, such as navy and white, can be matched to your brand palette on larger orders.

Frequently asked questions

How many panels can be printed?

Any number of the eight panels can be printed. Most orders print the logo on two or four panels, which keeps it visible from all sides. Each extra panel adds a printing step, so the price per umbrella rises slightly.

Does the umbrella protect from the sun?

Yes. The canopy has a UV coating on the underside that reduces sunlight passing through. For strong Gulf sun, a darker canopy or a silver-coated underside gives the most shade.

Can we have two colours on alternating panels?

Yes. Alternating panels, such as navy and white or black and red, are a popular way to show brand colours. Stock combinations are available on smaller orders, with custom combinations on larger runs.
