How engraving looks on wood
Laser engraving burns the logo into the wood, leaving a dark, slightly recessed mark that will never rub off. It reads best on lighter woods such as maple and olive wood, and gives a subtle tone-on-tone look on darker walnut and padauk. The box lid can carry the logo too, and a name can be engraved on the cap.

Is the wood sustainably sourced?
We source turned barrels from suppliers who use plantation or certified timber where available. Availability varies by wood type and season, so we confirm the exact wood and its source with your quote before you approve the order.
Will the wood crack in Gulf heat?
The wood is sealed and finished, so normal office and travel use is fine. Like any wooden item, it should not be left in a car in direct summer sun for long periods, as extreme heat can dry the surface.
Can we mix wood types?
Yes. You can mix padauk, olive wood, walnut and maple in one order with a small minimum per wood. Some companies match the wood to seniority or department, or let recipients choose from a card.
